You will be in charge of creating content for a large-scale project, which will be viewed by over 100,000 Unique Visitors a month.

Responsibilities

• Write concise, clear and attractive copy with a friendly and engaging voice.
• Conduct high-quality, extensive research (and interviews) regarding the topics you will be writing about.
• Edit, proofread and publish copy as needed.
• Understand SEO principles to maximize potential target audiences.

Qualifications/Requirements

• We do not require any professional (paid) previous copy experience, but we do require you have a decent portfolio to show us.
• High-school diploma required, a university degree is not needed however. A BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field is a huge plus though.
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation. 1+ year experience working in creating online articles is a plus.
• Experience with SEO.
• Strong research skills.
• Perfectly speak and write in English. Other languages are a plus. All content will be focused on being in English.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills. You will be in charge of your own work (although obviously with help/direction from the manager), but you'll be in charge of managing your time, copies. We do not believe in the tradicional 9-5, that leads to creative and artistic burn-out. We want you to be passionate and enjoy the job as much as we do!
• Team player with an ability to work collaboratively, as a small team being able to express your ideas and thoughts is a big factor in making work easier.

Your work includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, exhibitions and more.

Responsibilities

• Create "drafts/mock-ups" and designs for visual layout of web pages, and be able to convert designs into HTML and CSS, JS if animated/needed.
• Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards, writing clean, documented and structured code. This makes the rest of the website-creation process a lot easier.
• Implement high-quality SEO policies. Understand how websites need to be structured and presented.

Qualifications/Requirements

• It is preferred if you have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Graphic Design or related field. 3+ years’ experience working in the field is a plus.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Full-stack is a big plus.
• Advanced Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator skills.
• Perfectly speak and write in either English or Spanish. Other languages are a plus.

Notes

We will not recognize any projects on your portfolio that were made using templates found, free or purchased, online. To evaluate your design skills we must see projects you have created from scratch.
Taking a website template, changing the logo, text and colors does not make you a designer.
